Bohol PHO’s Environment & Sanitation Program (EVS Program) and Ecological Solid Waste Management Program (ESWMP) headed by Engr. Asuncion Odtohan joined the consultants from World Bank together with the members of PGBh’s technical working group in the evaluation of the proposed Sustainable, Inclusive, and Resilient (SIRT) Tourism Projects in Bohol located in towns Sikatuna, Loboc, Tubigon, and Maribojoc on March 28-30.In addition, sanitation inspectors of the EVS team evaluated a newly opened water refilling station in Jagna last March 10.Seawater sampling was conducted at ten specified areas last April 1 to be used as specimens in the water testing for coliform, namely: Bellevue Resort, Muro Ami, Linaw Beach, Bohol Divers, Lost Horizon, Alona Kew, Henann, Amorita Cliff, and Dumaluan 1 and 2.”Sa PHO Una Ang Serbisyo”#BuhatAngPasultion

Josiane Pepito, nurse coordinator for Family Planning and Reproductive Health (FP-RH) Program, conducted monitoring and evaluation activities for the Rural Health Units of towns Loay, Albur, and Baclayon on March 30, March 31, and April 1, respectively.The public health nurses and rural health midwives of the aforementioned RHUs presented records on FP Form 1, Target Client List, FP Summary Table, and monthly reports which are to be consolidated and reconciled further in preparation for the First Quarter Report for calendar year 2022.”Sa PHO Una Ang Serbisyo”#BuhatAngPasultion

CABILAO ISLAND, LOON – Two hundred eighty-nine children, adolescents, and adults were vaccinated against COVID-19 last March 29 and 30 by Bohol PHO’s Mobile Vaccination Team in partnership with Loon RHU II headed by Dr. Leobelle Ruth Buac-Aoay and the BLGU of Cambaquiz headed by its barangay captain, Ms. Marilyn Autentico.

Those inoculated were also provided with facemasks, paracetamol, and multivitamins.
