Catigbian District Hospital (CDH) is a DOH-Licensed Level I health facility dedicated to serving the municipality of Catigbian and its neighboring communities in Bohol. Operated under the Bohol Provincial Health Office (PHO), CDH is committed to delivering accessible, compassionate, and high-quality inpatient and outpatient healthcare services to all residents of the area.

DOH-Licensed Level I Hospital
Provides primary care including general medicine, pediatrics, OB-GYN, surgery, isolation facilities, maternity, secondary clinical laboratory, and 1st level X-ray.

Hospital Major Activities
Construction of new hospital building (Phase 1) to expand facility capacity.
Purchase of hospital equipment (PGBH Funding): OR tables, anesthesia machine, automated urine strip reader, clinical centrifuge, OB tables, nebulizers, and fully automated chemistry analyzer.
Dietary building construction (80% completion) and perimeter fence construction (60%).
TB-DOTS building construction (90% completion) and dormitory renovation (60%).
IT equipment procurement for the Hospital Data Center (HDC).
Active environmental advocacy: tree planting and mangrove planting activities.
COVID-19 Response & Safety
COVID-19 Vaccination Program conducted for hospital staff, their families, and local community members.
Construction of 4-room ward building (100% completed) to expand inpatient COVID capacity.
Expansion and renovation of Ward Complex (95% completion).
Installation of 2 water tanks (100% completed).
Received a new DOH ambulance (Nissan NV350 - Functional).
Rehabilitation of X-Ray room (100% completed) and construction of new isolation room (10%).
New shredder machine procured and made operational for proper medical waste disposal.
